Spencer Shia (’26) took his B.A. from University College London, where he studied Politics, Sociology and East European Studies. Subsequently, he took his M.Phil. in Late Antique and Byzantine Studies from Exeter College, Oxford. Spencer split his 1L summer between the U.S. Army JAG Corps and the Tennessee Solicitor General’s Office. At UChicago, Spencer is part of the Edmund Burke Society. His favorite article in the Federalist Papers is No. 51.
